Six hours? That isn't writer's block - it's a nap + a bowel movement.

Absolutely. Sounds like I was unclear (or perhaps the title seemed misleading?). The writer's block was the 7-year block from which I was recovering. The 6 hours references the meltdown (or melodrama) after I losing the "best piece of writing..."

"know what's worse than writer’s block? Spending half a day writing

the best story you’ve ever written [...] then losing it."

Hope that clarifies and thank you for reading and commenting. Cheers! ~cjp

It was in part and I was able to (mostly) re-do it. Hugs!

To bounce back after only six hours was absolutely champion. I could see myself sitting in darkness in the back of the closet with the old shoes and fuming for days, making deals with Satan Just reading about it made panic rise in my chest. I am sorry it happened.

Thank you, Sharron. I've become expert at bouncing back from stuff. Guess it's bc I'm so bouncy. :D. Thanks again for reading & commenting. Hugs! P.S. I've done too many times the hiding in "darkness in the back of the closet" and "fuming for days..." It never worked so I eventually decided to try a new tactic.
